ESU National Shakespeare Project
Teachers and students celebrate the beauty and power of Shakespeare's works by participating in the following Project programs:

ESU National Shakespeare Competition

A national school-based performance program - winners from ESU branch communities receive a trip to New York City where they compete in the national competition.

The English-Speaking Union of the United States celebrated the 25th anniversary of the
ESU National Shakespeare Competition.
Finals
were held at Lincoln Center on April 28, 2008.

British Universities Summer School Program

Scholarships offered to high school teachers for three-week summer study courses in the United Kingdom.

Shakespeare Across Cultures

An online opportunity for international dialogue and collaboration among high school students from the U.S.and other countries using the works of Shakespeare as the vehicle for communication.

Shakespeare: Words & Actions

An interactive workshop that presents teachers with logical, practical approaches for teaching Shakespeare's plays and poetry.
